One of my most memorable lessons my teacher taught me was in 8th grade. In 8th grade I was in an advanced math class so we were able to have a lot of fun. One day in class we all were doing our work and it was boring so she decided that we do the Harlem shake! She taught us that math can be fun and exciting if you make it that way. This is why I believe this is one of the coolest lessons I have ever had!

I have many different impressive projects, assignments, and presentations. This year I received nearly a perfect score on my English language arts final. Throughout middle school I was an all A student and received many different honors awards. In 8th grade I also was part of the national junior honor society. Over the years I have received many different good grades on various types of projects. I have also been student of the month many times as well. Throughout high school I plan on being an all A student and receiving good grades and awards. If I get a job in high school I would prefer a couple of different jobs. I would not mind busing tables or working as a waiter. i believe that these are simple jobs that really are not that difficult at all. Another job I would also be interested in is filling up gas for the boats down on the docks in the blossom heath marina. I think that this would be a great summer job because I would be outside and get to enjoy the weather. This is why I believe I would like to work at these jobs in high school! I believe that it was pretty unbelievable that the girls on the other softball team helped the girl Sara touch every base on her home run after she collapsed with her knee injury. It is a little disappointing that everyone thought it was "unbelievable" because really it is just a common curtsey that everyone should do for others. When Someone needs help I always do my best to be able to help them with there situation. The title of this current event is Employing Minors in Michigan. The author of this current event is Wage and Hour Division. This current event discusses the laws and rules for employment for both underage teens and people that are 18 and older. Under age teens require a permit to be able to work and certain jobs and services. Teenagers also must not exceed a certain number of hours a week and a certain number of hours per day according to their age. It is also mentioned that there are certain jobs that kids cannot do. Minors under 18 also must be supervised by a legal adult that is the age of 18 or older. I do not totally agree with all of the laws for minors in the state of Michigan. I do not believe it is necessary to have to have a permit for every job when under the age of 18. If the person wants to work then let them work, there is no point to make a bunch of restrictions for being able to get the job. I also think that jobs should be required to pay kids 14-18 minimum wage. This relates to me because I am a 14 year old who would like to work but not any less then minimum wage. All in all I agree and disagree with the underage working laws. These laws and information will benefit me in the future in all sorts of ways. First if I would wish to get a job I could look at these laws to see what I need to do before I will be able to get one. This article relates to everyday life of teenagers who wish to get a job of some sort. In the future I would hope that the government would revise some of these laws to make them better. This will get me ready for the work life by telling me what I need to do to accomplish a job. In conclusion this article greatly relates to teenagers of all ages.
