The Mental Habit of Feeling Rush or Overwhelmed by Leo Babauta is a blog post that I connect to in my everyday life. In this post Babauta explains that during the holiday season many of us often become overwhelmed and rushed by everything going around us. When we feel rushed we need to collect ourselves and pause because getting worked up about the situation does nothing but make things worse. He also says not to let anxiety lead us on a chain of worry because it will not help us in the end what so ever. When feeling overwhelmed we have to sit down and collect ourselves and the current situation. Feeling anxious and overwhelmed ultimately will do nothing but waste time which is good for nobody. In the future i think we can all learn from this post because in a time of being overwhelmed and anxious, we all need to learn how to calm down and approach each situation without completely loosing it. In doing this we can all have a much more relaxing, enjoying holiday season with little worry and stress.
