In the Gift Great Leaders Give by Roy Vaden, he explains that people do not need help being realistic, what they need is help to believe in themselves and to chase their dreams. By supporting and pushing those to do this they will ultimately have more confidence which will lead to greater and greater success. In Burning and Building Bridges by Scott Mabry he explains that leaders accelerate both beginnings and endings. We have to live for the day but plan for tomorrow and be able to adjust to the circumstances accordingly. After reading both blog posts I believe that leadership is a lifelong characteristic that you have to continue to build and grow.
